Action of Zeir Anpin during Pregnancy, Suckling and Maturity.

TL;DR

During pregnancy, Z"A is hidden inside Imma — building-time, not action-time. The visibility/action shifts at birth.

Why this chapter exists

Op. 122 distinguishes building-time from action-time. During pregnancy, Z"A is building (being constructed inside Imma) but not yet acting (visibly governing). The distinction is operationally important.

The argument

The distinction has structural-philosophical significance. The cosmic government does not act in two modes simultaneously. When Z"A is being built (pregnancy), it is not acting visibly; when Z"A acts (post-birth), the building-process is complete in its initial form. The cosmic-operational rhythm has building-times and action-times; the two are distinct.

Once Z"A is born, action begins. During suckling, Z"A acts at Ruach-level intensity (less than full mature operation). At maturity, Z"A acts at full Neshamah-level intensity.

The distinction also operates at smaller temporal scales. The cycle's micro-rhythm (weekday/Shabbat) has building-time and action-time aspects: certain cosmic operations occur during weekday-mode (building); certain occur during Shabbat-mode (higher action). The macro-rhythm (the six millennia) and the micro-rhythm (weekday/Shabbat) both follow Op. 122's framework.

What you'll meet later

Op. 128 (regular oscillation between First and Second Maturity). The closing operational chapters operate with both modes active.
