The way one power clothes itself in another indicates how the wearer directs the garb, but the underlying reasons are beyond comprehension.

TL;DR

The manner of clothing is investigable. The underlying reasons are beyond comprehension. The methodological discipline of the second half of the book.

Why this chapter exists

Op. 100 closes the Atik Yomin-and-A"A-link unit by stating the methodological rule explicitly. The manner in which one power clothes itself in another — the structural pattern of hitlabshut — is investigable. The underlying reasons — why the structural pattern is what it is — are beyond comprehension*. This is the radla-respect doctrine made operational.

The argument

The Op. 15 epistemic discipline returns here at the Partzuf-clothing level. We can investigate how Atik clothes in A"A (the operational manner: Atik's M-and-F-as-one-body fits into A"A's interior in specific anatomical ways; the chain radla → AK → Atik → A"A runs in specific structural patterns). What we cannot investigate is why these patterns and not others — the underlying reasons rooted ultimately in radla.

The rule generalises across the named-Partzuf walk. Op. 109's general rule of Partzuf-pair interrelation (chain + clothing) operates at the manner level. The closing chapters' Coupling-order doctrine operates at the manner level. Throughout, the reader investigates what is happening structurally without trying to specify why the structure is what it is.

This is not pious hedging. It is the structural-philosophical condition of the entire investigation. Without the discipline, investigation would either overreach (claiming to specify what cannot be specified) or refuse to begin (declining to investigate the manner because the reasons are concealed).

What you'll meet later

Op. 109 will operationalise the rule for Partzuf-pair interrelation. The closing chapters honour Op. 100's discipline throughout — every operational claim is at the manner level; the reasons remain in radla.
