Atik Yomin — Malchut of Adam Kadmon — is clothed in and governs Atzilut.*
Atik Yomin is Malchut of Adam Kadmon, clothed in Atzilut. The highest Partzuf accessible to Atzilut-discourse; conceals its essence even within Atzilut.
Op. 74 opens the named-Partzuf walk with Atik. The chapter identifies Atik with Malchut of AK clothed in Atzilut — the structural-functional bridge through which AK governs Atzilut. From here through Op. 138, the named Partzufim are treated one unit at a time.
Atik (the Ancient One) is AK's Malchut — the lowest Sefirah of Adam Kadmon, the bottom-of-AK that becomes the top of Atzilut when clothed in it. The clothing-relation Op. 29 introduced (the Line shines through a garb) operates here at the cross-AK-Atzilut level. AK's Malchut is the interior of Atzilut's outermost garment.
Atik takes on MaH (gematria 45) and BaN (gematria 52) as its repairs. The matkela operates at the Atik level: MaH and BaN, joined at the AK Yesod-Malchut couple (Op. 60), become Atik's operational identity in Atzilut. Atik sits at the top of the Atzilut hierarchy, with its essence concealed even within Atzilut. Atik is therefore the highest Partzuf accessible to Atzilut-discourse — above Atik, we are in AK proper, and AK's interior is largely beyond the cosmic-Atzilutic register.
The operational consequence: Atik governs Atzilut by being clothed in it. The directives that descend from AK reach Atzilut through Atik's clothed-in-Atzilut presence. The chain AK → Atik → A"A → the rest of Atzilut (Op. 96) runs through Op. 74's framework.
