The connections between MaH (gematria 45) and BaN (gematria 52) produce the "Tree" — Atzilut-Beriyah-Yetzirah-Asiyah. The repair is completed through man.

TL;DR

MaH joins BaN to produce the Tree of Holiness — ABYA proper. The repair is new state, not old — and man completes the work.

Why this chapter exists

Op. 61 makes one of Klach's most concentrated theological-operational claims. The repair does not return the cosmos to its pre-breaking state; it produces a new state. And man completes the work. The chapter cites the strongest biblical anchors of the entire repair-doctrine: Amos 5:2, 9:11; Isaiah 65:17; Genesis 2:3.

The argument

New state, not old. When the cosmos enters the cycle's middle phase, the integrated structure that emerges from the breaking-and-repair is not the same as the original cosmogonic state. It is new — with new heavens and a new land (Isaiah 65:17). The fallen-and-restored is structurally different from the never-fallen. Amos 5:2 (She has fallen, no more to rise) read against Amos 9:11 (I will raise up the fallen booth of David) gives the structural arc: what fell does not rise as it was, but rises in a new form that includes the fall's cosmic productivity.

The Genesis 2:3 phrase asher bara la-asot — usually translated which God created to make — is read by the Lurianic tradition as cosmic license: God created in order that there should be making — i.e., He set up the cosmic structure such that the making (the completion) is left to creatures. Man's service is therefore not optional; it is the operational form in which the cosmos completes itself.

This is the cosmogonic ground of the entire deed-dependent operating mode of the closing chapters. Op. 48's hand of Heaven / hand of man distinction; Op. 137's six thousand years with all required Couplings accumulating; Op. 138's eight-stage Coupling order with its operational asymmetry — all of this is operationalising Op. 61's man completes the work claim.

What you'll meet later

The new state, not old doctrine returns at Op. 49 (BYA → ABYA → BYA arc; perfection requires deficiency) and at Op. 138 ¶20–21 (the operational asymmetry of present Couplings as restoration-of-fallen rather than elevation-of-new).
